In pursuit of bringing quality storytelling to life for the world Andrew moved from Australia to Los Angeles in 2006. Dedicated to the colorful and intricate life of visual effects production he is currently an independent contractor servicing the industry with VFX Supervision and Systems Development for high end 2D image processing.

As Compositing Supervisor at Mirada Studios, Andrew led the company's 2D Integration department for many years. Covering image preparation from capture, VFX compositing, Digital Intermediate & Finishing. In addition to on-set visual effects supervision, his work spans high end broadcast commercials, music videos, feature films, virtual reality experiences & interactive media exhibits. Andrew's repertoire of feature film projects include X-Men Dark Phoenix, Pacific Rim and Expendables 3. He was the Compositing Supervisor of the 2014 IBM Watson interactive experience at IBM in NYC and the 1st build of the huge 80 foot video wall that lines the Netflix lobby in Hollywood. He has extensive experience creating commercial advertisements for global brands that include Lexus, Disney, Google, Amazon, and Wrigley. Andrew supervised the most-watched music video of 2014: VMA winner “Dark Horse” for Katy Perry.
